Part 4 of the Clairs~ What am I feeling…Is it mine or yours?

Clairsentience….. What?  What in the world is this ? Is empathy and clairsentience the same thing? I think that most of us have heard of the term empathy.  When I first heard the term I was probably in high school.  I was curious about what it meant.  How it was explained to me (at that time) still holds up actually.  I was told it was to understand how someone feels without going through the event to feel what they are feeling.  It always made sense to me.  It is different than compassion…different than pity…or feeling sorry for someone, it is having empathy for someone.   In my high school Read more…

Sometimes we need to step out of our own way, and allow…

I have been working on stepping away from my routine.  I have tried everyday to go outside the box of what I allow my normal day be. I have received messages and answers to my questions left and right lately…and yet I still have felt confused and contemplative.  My own words echo in my head with messages I have given to countless others and I am gently reminded to listen. “Mercury is in retrograde right now…be patient with yourself and others”. “This is a time of change and expansion.” ” What you decide today may not be your same decision tomorrow.” “Take Read more…

Trust, like fear appears in all aspects of our life.

Learning to trust.  Trust issues are one of those things that continue to show up in our life. Each of us seem destined to revisit our relationship with trust over and over and over again.  The lessons within it are tenfold.  It amazes me how this one, relatively small, word can have such a big affect on all of us. We are told to trust so many things.  We are taught to trust, but then at the same time encouraged to second guess…but… trust at the same time.  It becomes convoluted and confusing.  So often when we think we have overcome a hurdle, a life lesson, we come face Read more…

Love is like a Garden.

I have been thinking a lot about love. I seem to see so many posts on the topic lately.  Most of them asking questions like: How do you make love last? Is it possible to stay “in” love with the same person How do you keep the desire alive? Why does love fail? These are big questions indeed. The answers even bigger than the question.  Many people believe that we are not ment to be monogamous, and by trying to, we make ourselves and our mate miserable.  Many others believe there is only one true love out there for us to find, Read more…

The motion of moving forward instead of backwards.

I was thinking about progress.  The motion of moving forward instead of backwards. You know, that moment in time, when you are standing at the edge of a cliff with no path in sight.  Sure you could turn around and go back the way you came… but why?  Why move forward to only go back?    It is easy to talk about how one should trust, have faith, and courage… but when it’s your turn…and your standing there… with your feet on the edge, well… it can feel next to impossible. What I am realizing though is that moments like this are beautiful.  They are rare and Read more…

Trying to make sense of things…

I keep trying to piece together the sanity around the extreme sadness and shock that collectively we are all feeling. I am not going to begin to start writing about the recent tragedy in Connecticut. Instead I am going to remind myself that the end is coming. I know this sounds dramatic, but as much as it is…it isn’t, dramatic that is. What I mean is that we have been talking about the apocalypse the end of the world for ages now. Many of us have tried to dispel the so called “end of the world” as an actual ending Read more…

Following our path.

I noticed a bird yesterday… following the road above my car.  It was a beautiful Black Raven, he was weaving in and out to avoid the tree tops but definitely following the road.  For awhile he was above us then in front of us, he was a big and beautiful Raven.  Even with his occasional sway you could tell that he was on such a sure mission. Instead of creating a flight pattern of his own he was following the road below him, laid out in front of us both.  Captivated by his distinct direction, Read more…

Yep, that is what I said…Keep your thoughts positive!

I have been doing a lot of soul work lately. Trying to work out these lessons that have presented themselves to me this last year. During this process I keep finding things that I feel are imperative to share. Tips to either help others know that if they are going through something similar…hey, you’re not alone type thing! As important as it is to work through these lessons, sometimes the mere acknowledgment of them and what they are here to teach you can be (if not enough) a really good start.  For instance have Read more…

Awakening

A`wak´en`ing a. 1. Rousing from sleep, in a natural or a figurative sense; rousing into activity; exciting; as, the awakening city; an awakening discourse; the awakening dawn. n. 1. The act of awaking, or ceasing to sleep. Specifically: A revival of religion, or more general attention to religious matters than usual. On this journey of mine, I hope to make as many stops along the way as possible. Stops that allow me to absorb knowledge, and understand different perspectives. To see things from another’s point of view. This journey is a beautiful one. I started out probably overly anxious to Read more…
