One Thing

What’s best for you? What is your one thing? I took a brief hiatus from my blog.  I found myself spreading myself so thin that I was failing to give any one thing my best. Can you relate?  Haven’t we all been taught in one way or another to do as much as possible, to try and accomplish everything? We create lists and start checking things off one after another.  Then sit back, look at the list and feel this great sense of accomplishment if there are numerous things “checked” off.  What if there is only one thing checked off? Do you need to reboot?

Getting ready to spend some much needed time out in my yard today.  Looking forward to connecting with the earth. It is funny how disconnected we can become in such a connected world.  Around every corner is someone attached to a phone, or a computer or in this day and age, both.  I love technology, don’t get me wrong.  What I miss however; is the process of processing.  We live in a day of instant gratification.  I am guilty of it myself, I think we all are in one way or another. We want what we want now, and for Read more…

The truth is we are always learning about ourselves

It has been awhile since I have posted a new entry. I am trying to find my new center. I have been faced once again with the challenge of practicing what I preach. My days of late have been anything but calm or meditative.  They have been sprinkled with emotions that have left me wondering who I am.  I have heard this little voice in my head numerous times in a day saying “what are you doing?  It has been scary at times, For the most part I have been able to remain steady and calm, understanding that what I Read more…

Are you doubting your actions or thoughts?

So often in our life, our journey’s change. When they do it seems to be such a confusing and stressful time for so many.  Regardless of whether you like change or not, change is difficult.  It causes a person to go through a range of emotions anywhere from excitement, fear, doubt and regret.  Often when we make a change that points us in a completely different direction we tend to place a lot of judgement upon our actions. We wonder if the change is out of fear, or if the need for change is for the lack of patience, when Read more…

What definitions are in place in your life?

It has been quite a while since my last blog. I want to continue our conversation on what it is like in the beginning stages of understanding or accepting your psychic or clairvoyant abilities.  The first steps in opening ourselves up to our intuitive side starts with definitions. Understanding what certain “trigger” words mean to you can and will affect how you accept yourself and the process of tapping in or even listening to the messages you receive.  Many of us are unaware of the personal definitions we have put on so many different terms or words. Curious to what Read more…

Happy 2015!

Let the manifestations begin! We start this new year with the full moon approaching in the sign of Cancer. The Cancer Full Moon is on January 4th.  It is about the power of your emotions. Feelings are what guide us, they help us to know if we are on the right path. You create from the passion of your feelings. Cancer rules our feelings and is about your soul. To start this year you need to be be true to your needs. Allow your feelings to guide you because your feelings are your truth.   This is true in your Read more…

What awakens your spirit?

What does that mean to you?  Right now from where you are sitting as you read this, what does the title of this blog ignite within you? Anything? Regardless of your faith, this is the season where you will often hear talk of the word spirit.  I was just recently on a radio show (to be aired over the holidays on PLV radio) that was themed: the spirit of the season and a look into 2015.  We spent a good part of the show discussing what the season means to each of us. Between the three of us on air Read more…

Giving Thanks

Giving thanks is today’s task. Make it simple, make a list.  Thanksgiving used to be the one holiday that felt, how should I say it, real. For me my memories of the holiday actually feel pretty nonexistent, the earliest I can remember (right now as I write) are from when I was about 12 or 13 years old. It is a great time to remember to appreciate one another and to gather together and give thanks.  But…somehow that has changed.  The true meaning or purpose of the holiday has once again been corrupted by commercialism.  The gluttony of the feast Read more…

In the beginning part 2- The importance of Memories.

In my last blog, I left off with the importance of understanding our beginnings, our past and our experiences.  This was an important thing to really begin to think about as it helps us understand in some way who we are today. In reviewing part 1 I realized I left about a key part of this series that I would like to add here, before we go much further. I want you to designate a notebook, journal or maybe an online journal of sorts to this series.  Label it “The beginning” it is where I want you to start documenting Read more…

In the Beginning Part 1- Our first encounters with being psychic

I believe that some of our first memorable encounters with being psychic often occur in our teen years. I recently shared (on my Facebook page) a great article that I happened upon in my Facebook feed.  It was called 9 Way’s to stop absorbing other peoples negative energy Click the link if you get a chance.  It has some great tips for all of us but for sure those that are highly empathic. On my quest to want to start at the beginning…I have been rather overwhelmed.  SO much is already out there that I don’t want to discount or reinvent Read more…
