What happens when you no longer want what you thought you wanted?

January 2nd started like any other ordinary day for me.  I woke up and went to work.  Of course I had spent the New Year affirming my intentions for not only the New Year, but the New moon.  Like many of you I was ready, ready to take the next steps along my path.  Then…the phone rings.  Screech~~~~~~ What happened was intentions that had been previously set, were beginning to  manifest, and this made me aware of something. So often we talk about how to get what we want, which is good, however Read more…

Claircognizance~ The New Normal ~ Part 3

Sorry for the delay in the continuation of the Clairs.  Like many people my sleep patterns seem to be all messed up right now.  My dreams have been quite intense and my awake life has been just as chaotic.   I recently recorded a show with my radio partner Michelle DesPres where we discussing the process of  “Resetting”.   It will be airing soon on PLV radio, keep an eye out for it!  We talk about how we are all being affected by some sort of  “reset” in all areas of our life.  But enough of that, let’s talk about that wonderful feeling of “knowing” something.    Part Read more…

The Dragonfly and I

About four days ago (while still on vacation) I was getting ready to do some meditating on the deck of the cabin we were staying at.  As I stood on the deck looking at the lake in the distance… I noticed  a few dragonflies sitting and flying around me on the deck.  I had thought this was odd since the earlier part of the week I had not noticed a single dragonfly prior to this moment.  Putting my attention back to meditating I was just about to turn to sit in a chair, when suddenly a dragonfly landed on my elbow.  I turned my head Read more…

Today is a day for release…and letting go of old ideals

In honor of the new moon and the Taurus Solar eclipse tomorrow, I am encouraging all to focus on release.  Release all that is no longer needed in your life.  That which no longer serves you.  You know…that giant bag of rocks you are dragging behind you.  Look at it this way, as we go through our life we gain knowledge and awareness right?  We hold on to things, past ideals and old values or even expectations that we have either met or no longer feel attached to.  However; instead of releasing them (letting them go) we tuck them away.  Read more…

After looking within…then what? What do we do with what we see?

Hopefully, if anything this week you were prompted to really sit with yourself and examine the inner you. Coming up with what makes you happy is not an easy task. Some of you may be thinking its nearly impossible. And this nonsense of talking to our 11 year old self…really? If you found this next to impossible, well your not alone. We often lose sight of who we were and who we once thought we would grow up to be. This is a natural transition to adulthood. We could never expect to stay the same. Who would want to really? Are we alone in our thoughts?

My daughter text me something  last week that is still bouncing around in my head. “I sometimes forget that other people have things going on in their own life. That they don’t only exist in that paticular moment of contact, in my life, for me. That when I am not around their lives continues on”.  EM I couldn’t help but just freeze in that moment and be transported back in time. To my childhood.  It was shortly after my parents divorce and my Grandfathers death.  I recalled being in the back seat of my Moms Malibu, we were driving somewhere, Read more…

The Seeds of Intention

I took an amazing walk this afternoon. I am so lucky to have a path along a ditch (right by my home) that take you to a reservoir. Sadly I have not been on this path all year. Funny how we can take the things that are the closest to us for granted. I suppose that goes for many things in our lives. We always seem to think that things and people will always be there. There is always a tomorrow. Sometimes however, tomorrow never comes. Shouldn’t we actually live each day, instead of spending so much of our life Read more…

Night

A quick poem…enjoy Beauty, dreams and desire. Timing is what we think is right. Now it is time to look within, and win the fight. What inspires you? What is it inside that…just…feels right. Breath in, feel it grow. What is inside your heart? Do you know? Silence… Darkness, the sky is aglow. The water trickles and the stars begin to light. Crickets chirp, the lone bird calls, a car buzzes by somewhere in the night. Listen, deeply. What do you hear. Can you hear your calling, are you near? Nighttime has begun to call. Stillness is upon us. Darkness encompasses Read more…
