A tree murderer lives in my house

Tree Murderer A Tree Murderer; This is what I have called my husband.  I am very lucky that he is as understanding as he is, as this is a pretty harsh label.  As it is the crime has since been committed, the holes drilled, poison administered, and the tree dead.  All that is left now is the disposal of the body. Aspen Tree RIP 2001-2017 You see I have watched this tree since it was a sapling. We planted it a year after we moved into our home.  With love we have watched it become the home to countless birds Read more…

Look out 2016, here I come!

This is the time of the year when you hear everyone talking about their New Year’s Resolutions.  That time of the year when we make a list of things we no longer want to do, a list of the things we are going to stop or start for the new year ahead. Rarely (for me personally) did anything really last.  All my list did for me was make me feel like I failed or frustrated me. A few years back I decided that we are all going about this “Resolution” thing all wrong. By focusing on what we don’t want Read more…

Do you need to reboot?

Getting ready to spend some much needed time out in my yard today.  Looking forward to connecting with the earth. It is funny how disconnected we can become in such a connected world.  Around every corner is someone attached to a phone, or a computer or in this day and age, both.  I love technology, don’t get me wrong.  What I miss however; is the process of processing.  We live in a day of instant gratification.  I am guilty of it myself, I think we all are in one way or another. We want what we want now, and for Read more…

What is an Intuitive Realtor?

Why did I pick this phraseology to describe who I am as a new Realtor? Well, have you ever been sitting somewhere and a friend pops into your mind out of the blue, and moments later they call?  Upon answering, you immediately exclaim that you were just thinking about them?  This is your intuition, your connection to the collective energy. So often we have these experiences and chalk them up to coincidences instead of what they are; our intuition. When I have a client, I am working with them, I am not clouded by routine or a programming of sorts. Read more…

What awakens your spirit?

What does that mean to you?  Right now from where you are sitting as you read this, what does the title of this blog ignite within you? Anything? Regardless of your faith, this is the season where you will often hear talk of the word spirit.  I was just recently on a radio show (to be aired over the holidays on PLV radio) that was themed: the spirit of the season and a look into 2015.  We spent a good part of the show discussing what the season means to each of us. Between the three of us on air Read more…

A message from Aphrodite

LINK HAS BEEN FIXED (Thank you for your patience) Join me on Spiritual Awakenings as I talk about understanding and appreciating yourself! So many people are spending countless hours second guessing as well as underestimating their inner voice. I shares with you a message from Aphrodite as well as a personal message of how we need to learn to listen to the way we communicate with our self, as well as our children. Four parts to the self that are often overlooked.

When you start to describe yourself, how do you do it?  There are many descriptive words that the majority seem to use in basic intros.  Words like male or female, short or tall seem to start off the description and then some will begin to go deeper and begin to define aspects of themselves with things like married, single, children, mother, father, pieces of what we outwardly appear to be.  This works when dealing in social situations, but have you ever really wondered what comprises the self?  Many may be thinking or saying…our experiences.  Sure our experiences help to mold Read more…

Do you sometimes feel like an observer in your own life?

I have noticed lately that I have become an observer of sorts within my own life.  Watching, listening and at times participating.  This seems to be such a new and unfamiliar time for so many of us.  This time of transformation.  We seem to be living in the moments before something happens. Time moving forward at the same speed it has always moved, and yet I feel slightly disconnected with the flow.  This is not necessarily a bad thing…but most certainly different than the regular hustle and bustle I have been accustom to. Since everything is a form of Read more…

This Weeks radio show ~ how do you decode the messages in your life

Join Jackie this week as she talks about the transition from spring to summer.  She discusses the process of moving from one season to another and the effect it has on us. She urges us to be alert and pay attention to the messages we each receive from nature.  Stop assuming and allow oneself the permission to see the message we are being given, see the symbolism.  Jackie shares some the messages she has decoded that she has received from nature (messages for herself as well as for those she has read for).  She talks about how you can translate your Read more…
