Let’s take a message from the Squirrel.

I thought I would do another shout out to the squirrel this morning. I know it sounds odd, but in my last blog I briefly mentioned the need to be  more like the squirrel. Since writing that blog, he has made his presence known to me on a daily basis and now feel that he deserves his own post. Many of you who follow me live in other parts of the world and either never see squirrels or see them so much that they are considered a nuisance. All that aside the message they carry is for the collective. I have been doing some Read more…

The irrelevance of time….

Have you ever been standing somewhere and just forget where you were going?  Forget what time it was, what day it is? Experience a momentary lapse of time? This has happened to me a lot lately.  Not that I am becoming lost or incoherrent…it is more like I have temporarily, checked out.  Time becomes irrelevant, it blends in like a Monet painting…no crisp lines to delineate one minute from the next.  I don’t think this is something that has suddenly begun to happen for me, I have felt it since the beginning of time…  HA!  What I meant to type was the beginning of the year.  I did Read more…

The unexpected visitor

Like many of you, I am on the path to enlightenment.  I have learned many lessons along the way that have enlightened me to the many possibilities available to us, which has allowed me to no longer walk blindly along the way.  Yet, even though my path is now more illuminated than before, I am still surprised at the messages I receive.  Today, on my way home from our monthly “ask the oracles” event I was seeking some personal guidance, some answers to questions that I have.  Whenever I do this I cannot help but look up…look to the sky, the clouds and the mountains Read more…

To find your balance, throw out the scale…

One of the things I have worked on this summer has been trying to understand what it means to “be” balanced.  Well… actually first I am having to realize what it means to “allow” myself to find balance into my life. It has proven to be somewhat of a challenge, especially when I try to carry out what I have learned. It seems that when I find a lot of resistance to change or growth, the more necessary it is.  When this happens I have begun to recognize that the messages I receive are not only for me, but the collective. I have a tendency to Read more…

The Dragonfly and I

About four days ago (while still on vacation) I was getting ready to do some meditating on the deck of the cabin we were staying at.  As I stood on the deck looking at the lake in the distance… I noticed  a few dragonflies sitting and flying around me on the deck.  I had thought this was odd since the earlier part of the week I had not noticed a single dragonfly prior to this moment.  Putting my attention back to meditating I was just about to turn to sit in a chair, when suddenly a dragonfly landed on my elbow.  I turned my head Read more…

To find balance we must learn the art of being flexible.

I have been thinking a lot about what it means to be balanced. The word itself keeps popping up in my life.  It comes up in almost all of the personal readings I have, as well as within my family life.  For some reason this one little word seems so difficult for me to blend into my field as well as into my life.  I understand the word.  I understand the concept, but I just cannot seem to implement it into my life…correctly.  Every time I think I have it mastered …BAM! I faced with the reality of something that I forgotten about, and realize my so-called “balance” was just a form of Read more…

Love is like a Garden.

I have been thinking a lot about love. I seem to see so many posts on the topic lately.  Most of them asking questions like: How do you make love last? Is it possible to stay “in” love with the same person How do you keep the desire alive? Why does love fail? These are big questions indeed. The answers even bigger than the question.  Many people believe that we are not ment to be monogamous, and by trying to, we make ourselves and our mate miserable.  Many others believe there is only one true love out there for us to find, Read more…

Acceptance is key

I spent the weekend pondering on what topic to write about. I kept picking up my computer and then just putting it down. I ask for guidance and the word that kept popping up in my head was “Acceptance”. Michelle and I filmed Video 4 in our Clairvoyant Living Series this weekend (watch for the post) and while we were preparing to film, we started talking and lo and behold the discussion of acceptance came up, there too. Now acceptance is a really big word. When you hear the word what do you think of? Do you think of accepting others, acceptance Read more…
